"Building Connections" Workshop in Mendoza: Alliance between technical education and construction companies

The event will take place next Tuesday, June 17, and aims to strengthen the link between education and work, promoting training experiences integrated with the real-life productive environment.
The connection between the academic world and the productive sector will have a prominent place in Mendoza with the workshop "Building Connections." The event will bring together students, teachers, companies, and public agencies and seeks to promote a new way of thinking about technical education and its direct connection to real-life work.
The event will take place on Tuesday, June 17, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the Nave Cultural de la Ciudad de Mendoza ( Cultural Center). It will focus on professionalizing practices, innovation, and synergy in the sector. Students from the Master Builders Program and Advanced Technicians in Light Construction will participate, as well as representatives from the Professional Association of Technicians, provincial authorities, and companies in the sector.
The central objective is to strengthen the link between education and work, promoting training experiences integrated with the real-life productive sector. The event will feature technical discussions, panel discussions, and an exhibition with company stands showcasing the latest advances in construction, home automation, sustainability, and modular design.
One of the highlights of the meeting will be the exhibition of two projects of articulated professionalizing practices:
- Sustainable Habitat: a transportable, efficient, and adaptable housing for rural areas, built by students using dry systems and solar energy.
- Sustainable Classroom: a comprehensive educational solution, designed with criteria of energy efficiency, accessibility, and collaborative equipment.
Both developments not only demonstrate the students' high technical capacity but also constitute concrete responses to current social problems, demonstrating that technical education can be a driver of innovation, development, and territorial justice.
